Women's Full Zip UPF 50+ Sun Protection Jacket

I�ve bought nearly 20 of these white Baleaf jackets over time, and I keep coming back for more. I use them regularly for important clean room and lab work where staying neat and prepared is critical. They�re lightweight and fit well without being too tight or loose.The material feels comfortable and does a great job keeping me cool in the hot sun but still warm when it gets chilly. Honestly I have really expensive UPF tops, some quarter zip, some full zip etc�I�ve purchased them from designer /high end athleisure and what not but this is the one I reach for ever single weekend when I go for a long jog. knowing I�d be out in the sun for 4 hours this past summer I�d just throw this on over a good sports bra and totally forgot about it.I am slim so I bought it in M to be oversized but it still has a �body skimming� cut that makes it look effortless and still flattering. The hand holes are perfect length (I�m 5�7� long arms) but I do wear UPF fingerless gloves so I don�t know if there i enough coverage to protect your hands totally.So all in all I have never gotten any sun/ evidence of sunburn , this to protects my neck and chest- back of the neck is something we forget too often. I have Fitzpatrick level 1 fair delicate skin so yeah, I get burned out in the sun from like 20 minutes but this top has protected me when the UV eating was 10 at high noon in SoCal.Love it! The pink is so pretty.

Zip front makes it versatile to layer it just when I need to be outside. I find the fabric to be the same with a different UPF sweater Steele, but seem like Beleaf is more well-known on Amazon, with more colors to choose from, and a few dollars more. I do like the collar that stands up in the back of my neck to help protect that area where my hat may fail to do so. I am petite and I don�t think the sleeves are too long. I would use the thumb holes occasionally when my hands are free or when biking to protect the backside of my hands. This sweater is thin, so it is suitable to wear to exercise because you need your clothing to be breathable. I wore it during my morning walk in CA when it was still cloudy and around 55F, and I found it to be enough � I am not cold or hot. I think it�s a bit pricey, but also can�t find a different competitive brand that is better or cheaper with zipper like this. The cheaper upf shirts are pull overs.

This jacket is great for sun protection and to provide pockets for light items like tissues. It is very soft and light weight. However, I put my small, relatively light weight phone in the outside zippered pocket and went out for a walk. The phone fit fine but dragged down the jacket on that side. The phone banged against my leg when I walked. The outside zippered pockets are not reinforced so I am not sure how long they would last carrying a phone. The inside pockets are deep and look stronger (double fabric on the inside but not the outside). I haven't tried them yet but they are also at the bottom of the jacket so the phone would probably bang against my leg there too. I got the jacket in a larger size to hang loosely. If you get it to fit more closely and zip it, you may not have that problem. I've only had the jacket about a week and like it but probably won't use it for carrying my phone again.

I now have several of these jackets and I love them. They are very lightweight so nice when that's all you need. They definitely protect from the sun, I now have a suntan line at my wrist. I will wear them this summer even in the heat. The pockets are roomy and there is also pockets on the inside. Good quality and the medium I bought fits perfect on my medium frame.
