What should I wear for surfing in cold water vs. warm water?

For warm water (above 70°F/21°C), asurf shirt (rash guard)paired withboard shortsor a bikini is usually sufficient to protect your skin from the sun and board rash. In colder water, you will need one of oursurfing wetsuits for women. Wetsuits come in various thicknesses (e.g., 3/2mm or 4/3mm) to trap body heat and keep you warm during longer sessions.

It's a little thinner than I was expecting but I still like it well enough to keep it. The stretchy side panels are exactly what I was looking for and allows it to fit well around my midsection without looking too bulky.
