WARNING for those with sensitive noses and people in general who just don't want to breathe in perfumey chemicals:This shirt is nice-looking, but as soon as I took it out of its plastic bag I said to myself, "Phew. What IS that smell?"I probably have at least six or 7 pairs of Baleaf pants. I know I have a super cool Baleaf long-sleeve sports shirt around here somewhere that I love. And I do mean LOVE. I wear my Baleaf fleece-lined pants and capri style pants a lot.But NEVER before have I smelled this off-putting "Febreze"- type stench on any of the Baleaf company's clothing. Yuck.I usually keep my "to be washed" clothing items in a basket in my bedroom. But I had to put this new shirt outside. I hope the smell doesn't infect my other clothes, when in the wash. Here's hoping one wash will suffice to rid the shirt of its reek.Aside from the malodorousness of the shirt, it appears to be a nice item. A bit shorter than I had hoped, but the wine red color is beautiful. I like the gaiter and hope it will keep my neck warm on my morning bike rides. The material is the same as my "water-resistant" fleece-lined pants, so I think this shirt will do well (as the pants have done) with many many washes. (Cold water, only.)
