Baleaf Stretchy High-Rise Capri 21"

I anxiously awaited the arrival of these yoga pants. Baleaf is a brand I am familiar with and I have been pleased with the high quality and features of their products.Unfortunately when these arrived I quickly realized I had mistakenly ordered a size too small. Therefore I can’t review them based on how they look and feel on me. However, as a retired activewear buyer, I can absolutely review its features with a discerning eye for the details.First of all, the quality of the stretchy spandex fabric is high. It’s not too flimsy nor too heavy. In the description it mentions a brushed finish. For this reason I was expecting a flannel-like interior which wasn’t there. Just the same slinky-smooth fabric on both sides. Not sure what they mean by a brushed finish.I like the flat seams on the inside of the leg and crotch. I’m a “princess and the pea” type. I don’t like the feel of seams. For this reason I would have preferred to see flat seams on the outer side of the leg also. However, it looks nicer with the fold-over seam, and most people would never know the difference of sensation that I experience. (I’m on the spectrum and tactically sensitive.)The set-in panel crotch is a nice feature which would make it more comfortable to wear, especially when flexing and stretching as with doing yoga poses. Just so you know, it does not have a cotton lining on the interior of the panel for greater comfort and hygiene if wearing without underwear.The capri length leg cuffs look comfortable and non restrictive. Again, those comfortable flat seams are present.There are two deep hand pockets at the front. I love pockets here. I’m always carrying tissues with me so these are perfect for that. They’ll hold a lot more than that too.I’m a bit puzzled by the strap on the inside waist front. It’s like a drawstring that you can’t tie one end over the other to form a knot, bow, or add a cord lock. It is a complete circle. This feature is new to me and I’m not sure how you’re supposed to use it. In the description it says it’s adjustable. I don’t understand how you’re supposed to tighten it. If you pull it out, it slips back into place when you let go. I must be missing something.There is a small, round reflective logo on the outside back of the waist. If you’re walking or jogging at night, you might be better seen from the back—so long as your shirt doesn’t cover it up.As for price, as of this writing they are selling for $36.99. I have a preference for spending less than thirty dollars on activewear pants so these retail a bit high for me. However, everything costs more nowadays so maybe I need to adjust my expectations. In any case, the quality is good and if you’re okay with the price, I’d say go for it.

The gray color matches the photos on my device screen. The lower leg holes are loose with wide cuffs. The remainder of the pants are true to size. They are comfortable. I did not see any defects.The waist has an unusual drawstring. It is one complete elastic strap that does not have 2 ends to tie. If it needs to be tightened, a knot will be required in the loop.BIG POCKETS! The pockets are big enough for an iphone 16 pro max or a full hand.The negative is that they are not very high waisted. The waist sits on the belly button vs a couple inches or more above it. It can be pulled up tightly to get it higher but then the pockets are too high to be useable and they are not very comfortable. The pockets begin about 2 inches from the top of the pants.

At first, I didn’t think they were for me. But I waited a day or two and tried them on again and they’re actually quite comfortable and great fabric. I live in the southern Utah desert so I think these are going be perfect for every day wear.

I LOVE these! Everything about them is perfect! I bought them in three colors! Could you please make this exact style in full length (30” inseam) pants? I have been looking and looking for these in ‘pants’ length forever!

Did like the fabric or style I’m a petite person and they made me look dumpy.

These are comfortable capri joggersamd fit loosely around the bottom so not to appear as leggings, though they have a secure feel like leggings. The material is durable and thick, and looks and feels like leggings I’ve gotten from say pop fit. They definitely have workout value. I love the multipack and color options. These will get some use for sure.

I've been wearing these for about ten days and they're perfect for lazy days or quick errands. The fabric is so soft when you first touch it - kind of peach-fuzzy with this nice matte look. Not that slick athletic material that catches every light. I ordered my normal size but they fit snugger in the butt than I thought they would for straight leg pants. They almost look more like leggings on me. Not terrible, just tighter than expected.The pockets are actually useful though! Deep enough for my phone and keys, and nothing falls out when I sit. The waistband stays put when I'm bending down to grab stuff or dealing with my dog, which is nice.What's annoying is this little loop thing inside the waist. It's supposed to be like a drawstring but it's a closed circle? So you can't tie it. And when you pull it, it doesn't stay tight. That's why I took off a star - it's just a weird design choice.The fabric is thin and breezy for summer but man does it grab lint. They're comfortable and don't cling to my ankles like some capris do, so I'd say they're worth it. They've kept their shape through a few washes too. Just don't blast them in a hot dryer or that little reflective logo on the back will probably peel right off.

The material is great. However, I sent the wrong color.

Nice pants. Fit true to size. Good quality. They came very wrinkled and I had to wash to get wrinkles out.

I was looking for comfortable capris that are nice enough to wear out and that don't look like workout clothing. The fabric is a little thinner than I'd like, but they fit well and look good.
