Laureate UPF50+ DWR Hiking Pants (Original)

Had a bit a fall recently resulting in a bloody scrapped knee, but my pants are in tact. First words out of my mouth "did I rip my pants?". Thank you Baleaf.

These hiking pants are excellent. They feel light and breezy, is comfortable due to the slight stretch in material and is functional with it's multi pockets. I have a black already and came back to purchase a navy blue same size medium 27" inseam. Unfortunately the same size in navy blue is much bigger in the mid section than the black :-( all other area seem to match up except the mid section and because of this there's a bulge with extra fabric in the lower belly areas. It was super unflattering. I have found many inconsistency of size in same style different color items.The pic shows the black medium 27" on top of the navy medium 27"

Love these pants! I wore them every day for an 8-day tour of Iceland. I hiked glaciers, visited waterfalls, and searched for the northern lights in them. They were perfect for drizzly weather. I wore lightweight long underwear underneath but leggings would work fine. For crazy rainy weather I topped them with a pair of 100% waterproof pants. I love the zipper pockets- kept my wallet and phone safe. They are lightweight and breathable. Definitely my go-to hiking pants.

These pants were perfect for our trip to the Smoky Mountains. They were comfortable and cool for hiking. I am curvy and wear a size 14-16 pant and got an XL and they are perfect. I bought them in 3 colors. They can be cinched up or which was perfect for exploring a waterfall. I have large caves so I could only cinch mid calf, but it was perfect. I love the option to wear as pants straight leg or cinched. Would be good if bugs were bad.

These pants live up to the manufacturer?s descriptions with a lightweight but durable fabric that has just the right amount of stretch. I haven?t tried them beyond fall in AK, but the fabric seems like it will be comfortable and breathable in warm temps for an upcoming trip to a warmer climate. I weigh ~200# with a pear shape, wider through the hips and bottom, and the XL fits perfectly and are very complimentary. I?ve just ordered two more pairs in different colors. These might just be my new favorite outdoor bottoms!

I found my self between xs & s. I sized up to the small because they’re not tight in the waistband, and the looser fit allows me to comfortably bend, squat, and wear for hours outdoors doing photography. Material is thin but feels nice and I have room to add a layer underneath if needed. For reference I’m 110Lbs, 5’2”, and petite curvy. I’m out more for comfort these days rather than looking sexy. I got 2 pairs.

Overall: 7/10 comfort, 8/10 style, 8/10 fit 9/10 functionalityGot these recommended from a friend. I liked that the reviews said they weren’t hot in heat and kept you warm in cool . I’m not a big shorts person, my thunder thighs always chafe so bad. I was worried about the length being too long based on reviews but they’re a perfect length for me and I’m 5’5”, about 165-170 lbs and usually wear a size 12 bottom. I got the large.I don’t know about the reviews that say these feel like pajama pants. They feel like hiking pants. Still make some swoosh when you walk. Slight resistance to bending your leg. But yeah, what you expect for hiking pants.I like the fit a lot which is so hard to find for my body type since I have a smaller waist and big butt and thighs, they’re always too tight in the middle of my thigh and waaay too big in my waist, so I usually just hike in leggings. My only complaint is it does kind of bunch up between the crotch and waist- it is designed to wear high-waisted, so if you wear it any lower it bunches a lot and gives a lot of fabric hanging under your crotch. I think they’d probably be more flattering if they weren’t high waisted or had a slightly tighter stretch fabric on the upper part of the pants to smooth that out.Overall I think these will be the best you can get for hiking without spending $80+ and years looking for something, I’m excited to give them a try.

I got these pants to wear on the train. They worn great, no wrinkles and very comfortable.I removed the ugly black zipper pulls. Why can't these pulls match the pant color? I was tempted to replace the black drawstring but it is stitched down in the back. I'm sure it can be undone but I just tucked the strings to the inside so they wouldn't show with a white top.My main problem with pants is that they are never long enough but these talls with 31" inseam fit perfect. I have long legs for my height.I live in AZ and would love to see them make these in a white or off white in tall of course.

Wore these in Canada for ATVing. They were amazing. Light for packing. Super comfy with enough stretch to sit and maneuver the mountain trails. They aren’t waterproof but they dried almost instantly after getting completely drenched. Kept the dust off. Zip pockets held my phone well. I would say they are true to size. I’m about 5’7 155lbs and ordered a large.

Perfect pants for golfers!! Light weight and zippered pockets for balls, tees, and markers. I own four pairs of them now!!

Wasn't sure what to expect, but I have to say, I'm really very pleased with these pants. The fit is perfect, the feel is great, and they actually look good on my hour-long morning walks. Will certainly order another pair asap.

These are absolutely the best. Wore them all week on a trip last week, including sitting several hours traveling. So soft and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Love the fit and the lightweight material for warm weather.

The proportions seem off. They were tight on my thighs and huge around my waist. The return process is a pain. Won’t order from them again.

Ordering my 3rd pair of pants and 2nd pair of capris. These are the best pants ever for traveling. Phone in one zip pocket and passport in the other. You can wash them out in a sink and dry the next day. Very comfortable. I wear them all the time. Have even worn in colder weather with a light pair of long underwear.

I just ordered and received my second pair of these pants. They’re lightweight and durable which make them great travel pants. I love all their features like multiple zip pockets and the drawstring legs. My only complaint is when I opened the package there was a terrible odor on the pants. I Washed them once and they still were stinky. I have them soaking now and really hope it will remove the smell.

These are lightweight and a comfortable alternative yo leggings! Great quality and cute!
