I am happy to announce that this swim skort is officially my favorite.I finally had the opportunity to wear it to a swim play date, at the creek, and it was a win!I paired it with a 100% cotton retro crop top and it was perfect. I showed minimal skin since it is a genuine high waisted skort.Many items on the market claim to be high waist but fall short. (Pun intended)This little number sits high and stays high. It has an internal drawstring that can be pulled and knotted to adjust.The side slit adds to its femininity and ensures great mobility. The size I procured was an Xl and should have gone with a large.The tights on the “ort” portion of the “skort” were not tight enough. I will get my sewing machine out and tend to it accordingly.The material lays wonderfully. Not too light and not too heavy. It’s just right!It was a windy day at the start of the play date and it laid in place remarkably.While in water the skort did great. No riding up or shifting. It stayed properly in place at all times.After leaving the water it dried up quickly. The color is perfect too! Very slimming and elongating.This garment washed well and I experienced no color leakage. It shows signs of high durability and I can easily say it will last at least 3-5 seasons, easy.I will soon be searching for it in red. I look absolutely ravishing in red!

My wife wears size 10 levis and has a waist between 38" and 39". I ordered an XL and she says it is a perfect fit. She says the elasticity doesn't dig in at seams and is very comfortable. She wears Skorts all summer and she views this as duel purpose, both Skort and swim short. She also would also call the leg part mid thigh. I see no defects or sloppiness in the stitching with all seams very straight.

Honestly, I was very happy with the higher waist as it holds my belly in well. I also love that this swim skirt has full shorts under the skirt instead of just a swimsuit panty. There's a slit on the left side that is only visible when walking. I have worn this while swimming laps, and it didn't roll over at the waist and the skirt did not obstruct my legs. I also have had several spinal lumbar surgeries, and this skirt did not bother my lower back at all. It dried extremely fast after I got out of the pool. I ordered an extra large (my usual size) and the fit is perfect!This is a great swim skirt at an excellent value. I definitely will order again.

I love that this swim skirt has shorts attached instead of just a regular swimsuit bottom. Most of the swim skirts I've found only have a regular swim bottom and the skirts that I've found with shorts or capri leggings underneath have all been athletic material rather than actual swim skirts, so they absorb much more water and take longer to dry. This one is the same material as swimsuits.This swim skirt looks and feels well-made and good quality (sorry, the lighting in the photos isn't the best. It's black, not grey). I really like the design. Having the pocket on the shorts is nice, and having the slit in the skirt on the side with the pocket is helpful. It not only looks nice, but provides access to the pocket as well.I think my only problem with it was the sizing. For me, according to the size chart provided, my waist size would have put me as an XL, while my hip size would have been 3XL (normally, in US sizes, I'd probably be a L,maybe an XL depending on the product). I went with a 2XL, and it was a little large-both around the waist and around the hips, but if I went with a smaller size, it would probably be a little too tight around the hem of the shorts, so the proportions seemed a little off to me-a little smaller around the hem of the shorts than it should be proportionally- but not drastically. It will still work for me, but just wasn't ideal.There is, however, an elastic around the waist that you can pull in to tighten it around the waist if you need to, so that's helpful.Overall, I would recommend it. However, depending on your proportions, maybe go with the waist size rather than the hip size, or if you go with the hip size, drop it down a size or two (I went one smaller than the hip size on the size chart and it was still a little larger around the hips than I needed-especially since I prefer for swimming apparel to be snug-so feeling like the size chart was a little off is the main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Quality-wise, I'd give it 5 stars), and if your thighs are larger than average proportionally, it might be a little uncomfortably tight around your thighs.

The skirt is flowy and feminine, with a soft drape that doesn’t cling, and it’s made from standard swim material so it dries quickly after getting out of the water.I really like the design details. The side slit lets the built-in shorts peek through just enough to keep it playful, not matronly. Both the skirt and the shorts are a great length and do an excellent job of keeping everything covered when swimming, walking, or sitting poolside. It feels secure without feeling bulky or over-engineered.Fit-wise, there’s a generous amount of stretch. I’m a solid size 16 and ordered the 3X, but I definitely could have sized down to a 2X and it would have probably been a better fit. The high waist is flattering and stays in place, which is always a win with swim bottoms.Overall, this is a great option if you want coverage, comfort, and a cute silhouette all in one piece. One of these days I will learn to pay attention to the words High Waisted in clothing listings. This swim skirt is a lot more coverage than I was expecting. Perhaps I need it. I'm 51 and still wear bikinis as long as the bottom is always a swim short. I don't mind a skirt too, but when I put this on I was surprised by how long it was. It covered a bit too much.I then remembered the photos of ladies playing tennis in it and questions how much this is actually a swim skirt, or if it is a tennis skirt, because it is a lot of material for wearing in a pool, ocean, hot tub, etc. Heavy swim material gets heavier when filled with water after all.It occurred to me it was high waisted and I pulled it up to what I consider to be much higher than any of these models to be wearing it, and then the length became someone reasonable for a swim skirt. The material in the front hangs down asymmetrically and is a bit too much material for comfort when wet once again.I'm just not sure. Maybe I'll take up pickleball. It's neat that it has UV protection. The quality of the skirt is quite nice. The material is thick and everything is covered. My main complaint is it is bulky in the front, rather than **** like other swim skirts I have.Perhaps the Large is a little bit too big on me. I went by the size guide, and think a Medium would have been too small, the shorts fit well. I am 5"6, 140 pds.
