There is a lot to like about these leggings. I am 54 and about 175lbs right now, a little heavier on the bottom than the top, and I ordered the large in blue. Sizing is right on, and the fabric is amazing, I love the dark blue color. These will be so nice to wear on my hikes in the fall and winter. They are not quite as stretchy as regular leggings, fleece lined leggings rarely are. These dont have shiny fabric, which Im thrilled about, its more of a regular knit. Like most pants, there is still a little gather at the ankles because Im on the short side. I love the design of the top, with the four pockets and wide belt loops, but there is something a little weird in the fit at the midsection for me. The pockets in back sit up way too high, and if I try to adjust the waist down a bit, then there is more gather in the front, which doesnt look so great. But when I pull them up, the pockets are ridiculously high. This area is where I hold a lot of weight (in the back), so maybe it wouldnt be an issue for more ruler-shaped figures; pear shapes would want to take this into consideration. Theres no significant gapping in the back at the waist though, so they do have that going for them. The pockets are a little on the small side, but still workable. I have an S23 Ultra (the largest size phone of the series), and while the top third pokes out, it still feels secure. The back pockets less so, holding only maybe a third of the phone, and it would be sure to fall out with any real movement. Ill still get a lot of use out of these since they are comfortable and warm, but Ill still be wearing tunic length tops to cover the weird look in the rear. Ill try to see if they have a pocketless version when Im ready for another pair, because the quality and feel is great.
