Way better than expected. Very light weight fits perfectly for me 230 lbs 62 ordered an XXL . Has a touch of warmth to it but breathable. Going to get another one …. 👍👍 two thumbs up

I got one of these a few years ago, and then another more recently. The first one was white, but lots of use + not washing it that much turned it into a shade of light gray. I snagged it on a tree limb so, rather than keeping to apply sunscreen I just got a new one. The sleeves are a little short for me (I have long arms) so rather than stretching the arms out I just wear sun gloves; that's not a big issue. The one issue is I'd appreciate some sort of lightweight drawstring for the hoodie. While in zero/light wind or with the wind behind you the hoodie stays on, a stronger wind coming at you sends the hoodie back (as you might imagine). Some wear a ball cap to deal with hoodies like that, but I mostly use an REI Sahara hat over the hoodie to provide even more sun protection and to keep the hoodie in place. That works well.

color and fit were generally as described. pulls sweat off you, pulls breeze in, no weight, it’s an absolute asset in full sun. portable AC on your back. the shoulders could have been wider, and the arms a bit longer? but I was wearing this to landscape, that’s a hard ask for gear. the hood could have been deeper, as it crested straight up from my ears, leaving face and brow exposed. other brands with a deeper hood act as a full cowl/ brimmed hat. the added sun coverage on face means I’m buying something else next, personal preference, but the two of these I already have are going to absolutely get their price in usage for me. worth it!

These sun shirts fit great per my husband. This is our third purchase. He appreciates the softness and drape of the material and the thumb holes on sleeves.

Needed something to protect me from the sun while cycling in the mid-day sun. Actually seemed to keep me cooler as the sun wasn't hitting my skin. Material is just right - not too thick and not too thin. I'll definitely use this in the fall as it gets cooler as the hood will come in handy! Typical great product from Baleaf at the right price.

Bought 2 of these for my son and I on recent 4-day backpacking trip. Needed something to protect from sun at higher elevations (7500’-9500’) and provide a light layer for sleeping bag at night. Product worked great. No sun burns and not too hot while hiking at moderate effort with temps in 50 to mid 70-degree range. Might be a little hot to wear if temps in upper 70s and exercising hard. We wore this product continuously for several days in rough activities and it worked great. Backpack straps didn’t distort the fabric at all and they didn’t stain from at all from all the dirt/bug spray/sunscreen they were around. There are other lighter weight, more backpacker-tuned products at much higher price points I would love to have, but this was certainly plenty good enough for us less frequent hikers that can’t justify paying for the high-end stuff out there.

Comfort:It’s super lightweight, practically feels like nothing, which is very important cuz I’m easily overheated. I ordered a 3xl Which is what I typically wear but it fits more like a 2XL. Would def size up 1-2 sizes next time.

I wear a medium, but the sleeves were short, couldn’t use the thumb holes. Funny, I ordered a med. for my wife of a different model and the sleeves were long enough to use the thumb holes for me. Otherwise this shirt saved my skin from the sun and it’s comfortable. I might try ordering a large, since I like the shirt

In the desert where I live, this is a great shirt that protects from the high UV days. It’s a mid-weight (doesn’t feel thin or cheaply made) and the hood is a nice option to either keep sun off your head or keep wind at bay. It also is a great travel shirt for day trekking and washes easily in a hotel sink and dries quickly.

Great hoodie shirt. XL size fits well (5’8” and 195 lb), and thumb holes help keep sleeve in place. Chest and sleeve length work for me. Hood fits well - haven’t tried it outside yet.Priced competitively against other brands.Will get more in other colors .

Pretty lightweight so can be worn spring through fall, but you'll likely sweat it in during the summer, especially if you're active. I normally wear size small and this fits true to size. As others have mentioned, the thumb holes are useless as the sleeves just come up to my wrists. The hood is nice and comes down about mid-forehead for me. The light color helps you identify ticks too!

Love this company! Lightweight, soft, comfortable, breathable, colors are always spot on! Having that extra layer of protection against the sun, for a loved one who doesn't wear sunscreen means a lot.

Good value for the money. Normal fit, not billowy or too big. Nice fabric, a little thicker than similar versions by expensive brands. The hood is great for sun and fits over my hat. I wear mine kayaking, it’s nice to dip the shirt in the water when it’s hot, for some extra evaporative cooling.
